Lee - your points are very well taken and informative. Actually, charities need to be careful about their expenses, because more and more people, like me, donate based on expense ratio. After "What do you do?" my next question is always "What does it cost you to run your operation?" It was United Way about 8 years ago that opened my eyes to how much some of these people were paying themselves (millions). If they're picking up the tab for all these teams for a 35% return, then their expense ratios are going to go through the roof. Like you said, it could end up to be a self-correcting mechanism.
