I take back everything I said in previous posts. I am now on your side and want to encourage as many overweight runners as possible to go to Erie like you suggested. There, they will find an extra wide road so that at least 5, yes I said 5 tremendous rear ends can waddle side by side. Also, it is easy to "shave" off 5 or 6 miles because they can cut through the woods, or just be driven to the finish line. It is a small event and probably very few officials will notice. They can wear several fanny-paks for their chicken legs and wings and the beauty of it all is that they can do all of this in the name of a great charity! Thanks again Mervyn for your great idea. Next year Erie!!!
