I just want to say i am a very slow runner, or even u cal call me a walker. In three marathons, i have exceeded the time limit. One i received nothing. In another one, the organiser waited for me (i exceeded by over an hour) just ot give me the medal. Last one, i managed to catch someone who had the medals in a big box. He was loading up and since i finished, i was given the medal.

I was slow and last and so on but at no point in time did i even think of taking a short cut or even being bussed to the finish. I was almost crying every single step but i went for it. If i had given up, i would have gonehome and not tried to pass myself off as a finisher.

My opinion in short, is that u should never quit. If u must quit, then quit. No shame in doing slow. No shame in quitting. But never ever take a short cut or be bussed to the finish and claim u have completed.
