"Alternate finish?" Well, I've run 104 marathons and I've never seen this alternate finish. Here all along I thought I had to start where everyone else started and finish where everyone else finished while covering all the distance in between which everyone else covered. Now I find out there's an "alternate finish". Silly me.

The marathon is simple: Start where they draw the line that says "start" stop where they draw the line that says "finish" while following the prescribed route in between.

Also: JeansMarines is not in the charity fundraising business like TNT and the others. Look at their website. It's just a training program where women pay to get trained for a marathon.

I have no problem with the purple shirt people in marathons. But Hey Guys! There are rules. You'll really get us old guys peeved if you keep this up!
