Interesting Information

This is interesting information. I was actually beginning training for a charity marathon. Now I will need to decide if I should continue with the charity or train on my own. If I train on my own, the charity will not have X amount of dollars to help people that need it. If I don't, I will be training with an illusion that everyone from the charity must finish fairly. I certainly would not take short cuts or have someone pick my up in a car -- this would be much worse than not finishing in time. This is very disappointing.

I am a walker that would like to be a runner. I know that walkers in marathons are not looked upon favorably with some people (with legitimate reasons a lot of times), but I have to build up so that I do not get injured.
