Devon - remember that to gain 4-5 pounds of fat you would have to consume 3,500 x 4 = 14,000 calories above your break even point. That is like 50 snikers candy bars.
A body will change weight through hydration levels, glycogen levels etc. I used to be mentally tied to the scale - I once gain 14 pounds in 2 days and then lost 14 pounds in the 3 days after.
Just keep running, working out, eating and drinking a normal amount and my guess is by the middle of next week - that 4-5pounds becomes 0-1 pound weight gain.
Relax - fitness is a long term thing and it not gained or lost in a day, week or month.
