I always gain wt during the last 4 weeks b4 marathon. I can maintain the rest of training season, but have to try to lose weight in off-season. Any tips or does anyone know why this happens? In googling I ran across things like marathon-induced hypothyroidism orRhabdomyolysis. It's not "eating too much" b/c during training I scrupulously count my calories. Any ideas appreciated. I am now post MC Marathon and doing 14 days southbeach w/ no exercise - out of frustration to lose 10 pounds. debra17
