"Runner's Diet"; Feels NO GOOD

Hey all,

I'm a half-marathon runner hoping to move up to the full and/or triathlon level; i have also suffered from eating disorders in the past. in fact, i ran my first half-marathon last year on a diet of approx. 1000 calories a day, with a few days of larger quantities of food right before the race and ran it in 1:54:15, feeling great! I've since started the "runner's diet" put out by runner's world magazine in the past couple of weeks, and have been feeling terrible: lethargic and unmotivated. Could this be due to the fact that i've just come off a half a week and a half ago, and just need to take some time off, rest and refocus; or could the diet just be not working for me; after all, everyone's body is different!!

Thanks ahead of time for any opinions!!
