Thank you for the feedback everyone- it was very helpful. I invite you to check out Carb-BOOM energy gel when you have the chance. Carb-BOOM has about half as much simple sugar as the other gels, and a lighter, "easier to get down" texture. The apple cinnamon flavor tastes exactly like an apple pie !
