I've done some research on it myself, because I was interested to know what it really is, etc. Actually, creatine is a nutient that comes from meat and fish. It is advertised in Running Times and Runner's World. Creatine is mainly best used for sprinters. It strengthens muscles to it's highest potential, to creat quick bursts of energy. It also prevents lactate acid build-up. I feel that creatine is cheating. I've tried a sip, which was terrible. The amounts that are required to show an effect are large and seem unsafe, even though it is claimed to be safe, but little is known about it's long term safety.
