Re: North's post... I am not Canadian, so I don't use Celsius temps too often. But isn't 30 degrees C equal to about 86 degrees F? Who runs personal best marathons in that kind of weather? Not me. In fact, just about any human performance data I've researched suggests that 50 - 55 degrees F (12 degrees C) is the ideal temperature to run optimal times.
