Just a warning about lifting before doing other exercise - don't!

In order to lift, muscles must contract. Contracted muscles tend to stay somewhat contracted unless they're stretched or until they naturally "loosen" up.

Engaging in any post-lifting activity that sharply stretches tight muscles can lead to injury.

Done properly, many lifts also provide some stretching (Nautilus equipment is pretty good here), but, still, that "pumped up" feeling you have after lifting is tight muscles. Be warned.
