The watch looks bulky in the pictures, but it really isn't. The only part that is larger than normal is the screen, but that I think is a nice feature. The large screen makes it easy to read while running. Also, the large screen is needed because there is so much information fit on the watch. The screen is mounted at a different angle so you won't have to turn your wrist. IF you do decide to get the watch the best way to calibrate it is to run a mile or more, and then use the website to create a CalVal. The track/treadmill isn't as accurate as calibrating it on a longer, certified course.
