Well it's like God punished me for saying bad things about walking as part of the long training run. Yesterday my long run was 18 miles. For the last 2-3 miles my knees, ankles, feet, hamstrings hurt so much I had to push and drag myself to finish. I couldn't even walk to my car when I was done, I just fell over in the grass and recovered before trying to get to my car. I'm like JoeZ after that experience I am going to work some walks into my training. There is no way I can continue to run with that level of pain, and increase my mileage.
