It's been hot all week and my training reflects it. Less than 10 miles, I can tough it out, over 10 - bonk.
So let's talk about the walk/run thang. Call it ego, but to me a marathon is meant to be run. Hell, anybody can walk the distance; 9 hours at 3 mph, shoot. So what I'm concerned about is this: If I incorporate walking into my training will I be able to run 26.2, or will my body be too adjusted to walk breaks?
