I suffered a hamstring injury in March of 2004. I injured it by training too hard after my first marathon. The pain still exists to this day. It hurts deep inside the muscle as well as where it meets the gluteus. It is most bothersome when my striding. This has been a problem for way too long and does not allow me to run on a regular basis. I have laid off of running for three months now but the pain still is there if i attempt a hard or even moderate pace. This is a chronic injury that must be worse than just a strain. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thank you.
