First and foremost - go to a doctor. In the mean time - take ice baths. Fill bath tub with cold water, get in, dump a couple of bags in the water. stay in the bath for 10-15 minutes. This has made phenomonal increases in my recoveries. I started this when I had a tweak right before a marathon. Local icing was doing nothing. Two ice baths took it away - did not notice anything in the race or after it associated with that minor injury.
