It's really too bad about you injury, especially after all that hard work!
Thank god you have a fall marathon to look forward to...
If I were you I would start back prudently - even though you say it doesn't hurt, I think you ought to be careful until you are 100 per cent sure...
Also, I'd go easy on the long runs (and you have your base) and concentrate on more technical drills - intervals, hill repeats, tempo runs...
Small consolation : you can tell yourself you've had something like 35 weeks to train for that race!
