I have felt this way too, after running some marathons in the past, but the feeling quickly goes away after resting for about 1-2 minutes after crossing the finish line.

I do eat a good amount of GU packets, but not any candy during marathon runs. Perhaps we are overloading our bodies on too much sugar from the GU? Or, maybe our energy level is pretty much wiped out at the end of the marathon, and this causes the dizziness.

any one else have an idea on this topic?
