Training to walk Marine Corps 2005

Hi: I participated with Team in Training in January 2004 and completed the Walt Disney World Full Marathon in 7:02. I have to walk because of a bad back; two herniated discs. I am turning 40 years old and it has been a goal of mine to complete the MCM as a personal achievement and in return help TNT. In looking at the race, they have indicated that a 14 minute pace is required to 'beat the bridge'. Any suggestions on how to train to maintain that speed over the entire 26.2? I recently did a 5 mile training session in that time but am unsure if I could maintain it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
