Congratulations! I guess it went really well too, seeing that you are already considering a second one...
I agree with Dave, except I don't belong to the multiple-marathon school. I guess running multiple marathons in a single season depends on many things, your age, for example. But one thing is sure (as far as I can see): it's the training that is hardest, not the actual race (although it's no picnic). So Dave as a valid point: if you wait too long between races you will have to train all that much harder.
But still, I don't think I could face more than two marathons in a season (in fact, I think I may skip all of this year, just enter triathlons and shorter races until the Boston Marathon in April 2002). Maybe I like the training part better (or I'm just not that courageous!). So my naswer to your question would be to wait until autumn...
