Dave, The reason I really wanted a number is because my training partner was accepted. I sent in the applications for both of us and he got in. I can always try another marathon. I just found out about the D.C. inaugural marathon to be held on March 24, 2002. I'll try that one. Also, this year, the San Antonio marathon is Nov.11. I've done 21 of them here.
