What I Do

I don't know about others, but what I do is I don't use air conditioning in my bedroom. Instead I pile the blankets. It might seem difficult to sleep at first, but I seem to run a lot better in the heat. I don't notice heat as much as others, and there has been a noticeable benefit to my running. The only problem is that when the temperature is cool, I get cold even in weather I previosly considered warm.

Piling on the blankents helps me adjust to heat, while very little cover helps me adjust to the temperature in the winter.

You might want to try this. It'll take some time to adjust and notice a difference. You don't have to be hot during the day. At night, while asleep, I notice more benefits.

If this works for you let me know. I'd like to know if it works for others too.
