I have this exact same problem, too. 1.5 miles in I get these intense cramps. The cramps themselves have progressively gotten worse and I have stopped running altogether. I am writhing on the floor, cold sweats, b/m, nausea, and this last time I started hypervenalating, which I had never done before. This last symptom caused me to stop running. The only pattern I noticed is that it would happen if running UP a hill was part of the run. If I only ran on even pavement or down a hill (slowly walking the "up" parts) it didn't happen. I would suggest this to anyone experiencing this problem as I got the suggestion from someone who posted on different chat board and it worked for me. My doc has no idea. If anyone has an answer to this, please post! I miss running terribly.
