Forgot to add: Ditch the cotton and go for a synthetic material like nylon that won't stick to your skin as they get wet from sweat, water stop collisions, rain or cooling sprinklers. With rain, anything's going to stick but nylon is still better. You can also buy special wicking undies in sports catalogs.
