Hi. If you get sharp pain, you need to see a sports pod. But here are some things you can try:

1) loosen your shoelaces! It sounds dorky, but that has worked for me in the past.

2) look at your shoes. I found that shoes that are laced via "d-rings" tend to hurt my feet; I do better when the laces pass through holes in the shoe upper.
