Saucony is a good shoe

You have picked one of the best brands of shoes. I also wear Saucony shoes, although not exclusively.

Let me offer two suggestions that might keep you loyal to Saucony:

1. Minimize abrasion. Try wearing thin synthetic socks. Such socks will wick moisture away from your feet. The alternative -- a wet, thick, cotton sock -- may be the agent that is chewing through your heel area.

2. Tighten your laces. Perhaps your feet are moving up and down too much. Lacing patterns suitable for different objectives have become almost as complicated as rocket science. Try to get a schematic from RoadRunnerSports and change your pattern to one RRS recommends for a tighter heel fit.
