It seems to me like you have the perfect running plan. I was forced into running when I joined the Army straight out of high school, and my first two mile time was 20 minutes and some change, very similar to your first time. Eight weeks later my time was 14:01. So all it takes is dedication and time, you will see the results on the road and in your everyday life energy levels. I have served my time in the Military and know attending college and working. I have not been running in the past year but recently have started picking it up. I have also been doing research on nutriton and have found to compose your diet of 20% to 30% from pr protein, 50% to 60% from carbohydrates and 10% from fat. Remember that 1g or carbohydrate or protein equals 4 calories and 1 g of fat equals 9 calories. So when adding your cals and nutrients for the day you know has to get percents from grams. Good luck on your running program and email with any interesting knowledge you find along the way. bye
