I am afraid I have no qualms about eating fatty/unhealthy foods, though probably should!
I grew up in Mass., so have always wanted to run the Boston marathon. I have waited this long though, so can definitely wait another year or two...
I definitely hit a "wall" at 20/21 - though I have described it as more like running into a giant (6 mile wide) mound of jello. I was able to push through it ok, but it certainly slowed me down.
Next time, I plan to do more 20+ runs in training. This time around I just did one 18miler and one 20miler. Most of my other long runs were in the 15-16 range.
Let's just hope it was mound of gelatin-free jello :-)
