Dude, you and I could easily finish top ten at Disney. Why wouldn't the race directors issue provisional bibs to top-tier athletes? Most races do.
I direct a road race in the Boston area each June and we reserve numbers for ANY top runner who wants to jump into our field after entries close.
Seems like your tri team or corporate sponser should be able to pull a number from them. No?
BTW, say hello to my CSU boy Branden Rakita next time you see him. I think he's still hanging in your neighborhood.
