I have already checked out the comments on the Marathon Directory, but was curious if anyone else has run this small race and has any thoughts on it. Specifically, I was wondering about the wind. I recently traveled to Bandon, OR to play golf and learned that the average winds were in the mid 20 mph range, with gusts in the 30s or higher common!!!! Newport is a ways up the coast, but I was curious to learn if I should expect/prepare for a nasty wind from the north. Also, any other commentary would be appreciated. Thanks!
