and had I known it was going to be that hilly, I think I probably would have skipped it knowing I was to run MCM the following weekend.
However, I did enjoy running past many of the S.F. landmarks. The cool weather I hated while growing up in the area (lived in the East Bay, actually) was very pleasant while running. I thought the race was well-organized overall, but I'd prefer if they could somehow arrange it so that the walkers would always be behind the runners. With the full marathon walkers having an early start and the half marathoner walkers on much of the same course as the full marathoners late in the race, it seemed like I was going around walkers the entire race.
