Actually there were a few more than 200 men in the race... I checked the finish results and it was closer to 800 to 1000 men finishers for both half and full marathon.
the race sold out a few days before race day, so I wasn't able to run even the half-marathon...
I am somewhat familiar with the last 3-4 miles of the race as the San Francisco Marathon course ran along the Great Highway/GG Park.
Switchbacks can be nice if you're at the better end of the course... closer to the finish!
The Great Highway was brutal... but I will give it a try next year if knee and body is willing :)
