Hi Patty, There's a nice one not too far North east of you In Corning NY, The Wine Glass Marathon. It's a point to point from Bath to Corning, almost all flat and run on country roads. The fall foilage is spectacular and the field is relativly small at about 700 runners, give or take. Great course for a PR. they have a web site: www.wineglassmarathon.com, I think you might like this one, it's only about a five hour drive from Pgh. Also wanted to let you know that I'm a Pittsburgh native and i know how training on those hills can be, but what a view!!! Good luck, scott Post a reply on the Bulletin Board
