I'm registered for the Baltimore Marathon, as well as a few other fall marathons. Baltimore is close enough to my home that I can drive there on the morning of the race. I'll probably do the Shamrock Marathon again next spring. Virginia Beach is only 4 hours from my house. The Shamrock is a fun marathon, with the small city completely taken over by marathoners for that weekend. The prices are great also. My hotel (not motel) was $70/night, on the beach, with my room and balcony facing the ocean. The room came with a refrigerator and microwave. Post a reply on the Bulletin Board
