I'm training for the MCM01 and have been running for over a year, I have had a pressure point pain in my back-lower hip area. I've had this pain for about 6 months and I just try to ignore it or run through it. Once I get warmed up and am running it is fine. However after siting or riding in the car for any length of time, it throbs and aches like a tooth ache. I usually take some Ibuprofein and it helps. I don't want to stop training or running now, but if this becomes a significant obstacle when I'm riunning 18 - 20 mile long training runs it will be too late to stop training and recover in time for the Marathon. Am I at risk here, or is this a case of just deal with the pain? Thanks, BobZ.
