I ran a half marathon this Sunday, and the weirdest thing happened to me. I was in my last two miles and really trying to pick up the pace. I don't know if I over did it or what, but my calf muscles seized up and I actually think I peed my pants! It was hard to tell because I was so sweaty but I definitely felt that sensation. Has this ever happened to anyone before? I did really push for time because I wanted to beat my PR. It was also hot, but I took Gatorade and gels during the race. Could this be caused by some sort of mineral depletion or imbalance?
