I've tried almost every kind of gel out and E-gel seems to work best. It's taste is very mild and goes away quickly. It is much smoother and more fluid going down and I believe the higher electrolyte formula allows me to not need them as often. The ONLy drawback I have found is the packaging is a little larger. I bought a belt I carry them in and it works great. I take 1 every 5 miles.
If you are going to buy them, I would suggest that you get them from their website (cranksports.com). MUCH cheaper! Also they have a PR guarantee. If you buy a case and train using them, if you dont PR on the race (or finish if its your first) they will send you another case free of charge.
