I ran this race last year. One thing that helped last year was a strong NW wind that was at our backs from mile 3 (the lighthouse on Sandy Hook) to mile 18. Since this is the predominate wind direction for this season, you may use that to your advantage.
First 18 miles are very flat, very straight. Crowds ar small, but enthusiastic. Once you finish the long straightaway you run through neighborhoods. Slightly rolling hills. But you get shade for the first time in the race.
Have fun. And it sounds that if you have a solid base like you said, go for something better than 4 hrs with that base. Run it even and enjoy.
