What could be better than a strong finish?

This forum is delighted to hear from you. Speaking as someone who generally is exhausted at the end of a marathon, I'm inclined to believe that any advice you received and followed that led to negative splits and a strong finish was in fact excellent advice. What was your goal time? What was your net time? What was your pace in the first half? When did you make your kick? What was your pace at the end? And then the trivial questions: Did you take the bus? Did you see any coeds? How were the hills? Will you repeat next year? Congratulations. Boston is such an honor that I think you are missing the point if you can't savor the experience and the fact you finished strong. Good luck on your next marathon!
