Bad idea. I am a human nutritionist and believe me this is a very bad idea. Moderate low carb diets are ok for sedentary people who are morbidly obese and diabetics. Athletes should not try to severely limit their carb intake. Better idea - trade refined/processed sugars and starches for whole grain substitutes and complex carbs that contain fiber such as vegetables and fruits. They take longer to digest and will help curb hunger. Refined sugars/processed starches immediately enter the bloodstream causing insulin levels to waver between extreme highs and lows. Basically, running with out carbs is like hitting the big fat "wall" half a mile into your run - try that for 26.2!
