Thanks for the reply. What you said did make sense. I have never thought about that. When I run I go from heel to toe like a distance runner but I grip or push off with my toes a lot I guess. I have lost a couple of toe nails due to this but I never thought that that could be the reason for my joint hurting. I am about to go run....I'll have to try to keep from using my toes so much. Thanks again!!
