I got registered on my DSL line also. My son controlled the DSL computer while I tried with the 56k modem computer. The 56k modem was unequal to the task. Since my son and I didn't get started until 8:10 pm due to his high school function that ended at 7:30 pm, I wasn't able to complete the registration process until shortly before 9pm. But I think the Marines did an excellent job this week -- they seem to have allowed only a few registrants at a time access to the registration forms, to prevent the server from crashing. They also fixed the problem they had with Champion Chip numbers. By the time I finished registering and calling a buddy to see if I could help him, he was already registered and out walking his dog! So now we MarthonGuiders have to do as the South Koreans, and train hard for the next 6 months! See you at the Iwo Jima memorial on 10/28/01.
