Well, yesterday was a lifting day for me. So, Saturday I ran 6-7 miles. Sunday was an off-day and I lifted for my upper body. Today, my "training schedule" that I got from runners world says to run 2 miles, do 5-7 minutes of aerobic intervals, then run another 2 miles at my "comfortable pace". Is this good? I will have to look around tonight for more info, I noticed on another thread a well recomended book that I know I need to read.

As for eating, how do I eat pre-run? Pre-lifting we eat protein and carbs. How do these differ? Also, how do I eat "during" or after" my run as well?

Again, thank you for all the help. I haven't been a newbie to a sport for a while, it feels good!!
