That was some awesome advice! I'll take every bit of it. I'm planning a Fall Marathon in Oct. and finished my first one month ago; I'm enjoying the loose structure of a schedule that I'm keeping now coming off the marathon a month ago. I still do a weekly long run of 10 miles and intend to go longer earlier in the next training program. i think I'm on track so far. If you have time to respond - What do you think of the theory of walking breaks during a marathon? hope to hear back. thanks.
