Congratulations! You finished. Not everyone is able to do this in a first marathon.
I have said this before: the marathon is made up of 2 equal parts, the first 20 miles and the final 6.2. Now you have experienced it yourself. With continued training, you will be able to budget your energy better over the entire distance.
And I totally agree with the previous reference about sports drink. I used to rely only on water hydration. But when I finally got comfortable with sports drink at the aid stations, the final 6.2 of marathons became much more enjoyable.
