I bought a Garmin Forerunner 201 recently and have a few questions about it. First of all,I admit it's a great tool for determining pace and distance - even though it appears I'm running slower and shorter than I imagined on past runs. It gives new life to regular running routes. However, quite often I get a weak GPS signal (my understanding is it needs 3 satellites to get a signal). My question is how does this affect my time - does anyone know if no distance is recorded when this message is on? Also it is strange - at times I will be running a certain pace - i.e. 8.30 minute pace and I know I'm not slowing down - it will go to an 11.00 minute pace. Does anyone know if that might be do to one of the satellites not responding?
