I have only used the virtual partner once on a training run. It told me how far ahead/behind my goal I was in feet/tenths of a mile, and I did not find that particularly useful. Afterall, what does it mean to be behind 250 ft? I did not see an option to change this to seconds, which I would prefer, but perhaps I am just missing something. Overall, I like it for the mile splits on my runs, and for overall avg of the run. Plus, the calorie count of a long run removes the guilt of a big bowl of ice cream. The biggest problem I have with the watch is the tendency to let it run me -- to push to hard on an easy day, or maintain a pace when I should back off and listen to my body. Still, I'm addicted to the watch.
