Not that I thought I wouldn't make it to the finish line, but I completed the Mayor's Midnight Sun Marathon. What's even better is that I did it in my projected time ! While the time was not fast, I came in like a Kenyan ! lol I had to run the last 0.25 mile barefoot as a blister popped and I just could not bare to have the shoes rub up against it. Can't wait to see my photo with running shoes/socks in hand across the finish line!
I'm already planning my next race which will be a 1/2 marathon in mid November. Thanks for all the help offered on this board. I am sure to be back with more questions. :)
