About 10 years ago, in my early 20's, i lost about 1/2 my total hair thickness. after trying everything, i came across some info about essential fatty acids, which most people are deficient in. You can get your share in supplements, or fatty fishes, like salmon. The absolute best supplements is Black Currant Oil (not fish oil), it's a bit expensive, but made a difference in my hair (and nails and skin) immediately. I also layed off the daily showers, switched to a natural shampoo, and skipped the conditioner, just till i get straightened out. my hair has compeletely re-thickened. hope it helps.
